Frequent ask questions about our photobooth


What is an open air photobooth and how is that different than a traditional photobooth? 

A traditional photobooth is a small enclosed box that you usually fit in to take a photo.  You can usually only fit 2 to 4 people.  This limits the ability to include a variety of props in the photo.  Our photobooth and equipment is free standing and not connected to a box.  This gives your guests more flexibility in posing and using props. 


What if I want more time? 

We allow you to add additional time at one hour increments. If you have an event that is longer than 6 hours, contact us for pricing. 


What are the space and power requirements for the photobooth? 

The booth needs a 8ft x 8ft space with a minimum of 8ft vertical.  We also need a 110volt 15amp 3 prong power supply that is dedicated to our equipment.  Sorry we are not able to share a power supply or circuit with the DJ, caterer or any other lighting equipment. 


Is there a cost for setting up the booth? 

We do not charge for the time to set the booth up.  Set-up time normally takes about an hour to put up the booth.  The set-up time does not cross over into your event time. So for example, if you book our booth from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, We will set-up the booth starting at 4pm. 


Will there be an attendant with the booth? 

Yes, there will be an attendant on site during the entire event.  They are very personable and outgoing and will assist your guest and to ensure that everyone is having a great time. 


What Layout options are their for prints? 

We offer the traditional 2x6 photo strip or the more popular 4x6 layout.  Each print can include 1 to 4 pictures, We can custom design a logo or branding for your event to make each print special and memorable. 


Can I create a personal message to say on the print? 

Yes, we can add to the picture any branding that you would like as long as there is no copyrights tied to what you would like to add. 


How many photos can our guest take?

During the rental period, there is no limit to the number of photos that can be taken.  Guests can take multiple pictures, if they like, 


Will we be provided a copy of all the pictures taken at the event? 

Yes, at the end of the event you will be provided a flashdrive containing all the pictures taken during your event. In addition, all photos will be hosted in a password protected gallery on our website for guests to view and purchase additional prints. .
